Lessons.......

Christmas/Winter Package Special January 2020 - 4 lessons for $130, geared for the beginner and the re-rider.

Does your child ask Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny for a pony?

Do you know someone who misses riding? Give them the gift of horses. Email me and I will set you up with a gift certificate.

Cornerstone Farm offers lessons in dressage and jumping, with a basis in Eventing. We also teach the Basic Balanced Position, for those students who are not yet focused on a particular discipline.

Each session includes horse care before and after the lesson. Students should arrive 20-30 minutes early to tack up and plan to allow at least 20 minutes to cool down the horse and clean the tack. Fees: $45 per semi private, $45 private 1/2 hour, $55 private. Due monthly, at the first lesson each month. Beginners may take  four lessons for $35 each.

We have great lesson horses! Some are experienced eventers, some are just great at starting students safely. The horses are also available for showing and, at times, a full or partial lease. We attend shows monthly and schedule other fun outings.

New for 2020! We have a new program that enables lesson students to join Pony Club! The lesson ponies will be used for the monthly meetings and they will be held at the farm. Participants will be part of Yadkin Valley Hounds Pony Club. Contact us for more info.

Meet our horses!

Barney
is THE pony! Standing about 12.1 h, he can canter safely with the smallest child.
He watches me for clues to where I want him to go! He and I are buddies,
working together to start each child in a safe and fun manner. He is rightfully, spoiled rotten!

Buckle Up! 15.1, 17 year old QH cross. Fun, good introductory jumper and dressage mount

Julep is a petite TB mare with limited spots available. Dressage and jumping.

Quaker Oats is a 10 year old Appy gelding.. He came to visit three years ago and never went home. He has turned out to be a good pony for beginners, those learning to jump and riders who are ready to start showing.
Rest in peace, my sweet, sweet man.

Peter Pumpkin is a farm favorite. He is 11.3 and almost 20 years old. He is the perfect pony for first time riders up to those showing over fences. Peter is a peppermint hog... he'll smile if you give him one! Another priceless pony gone over the bridge.

Candyland is  a large pony. She is fabulous, there is just no other word for it. She has taken several students to great ribbons at the local Jumper Shows. Great girl. Pony Club Veteran!

Pumpkin Latte, 11.3 hand silver dapple, perfect little pony. Jumps and shows. Can also take part in Pony Club activities.
