Cornerstone Farm is a boarding, lesson, training and sale barn located in Mocksville, NC. We specialize in a Family atmosphere, with emphasis on Eventing, Dressage and the Basic Balanced Position for all types of riders. Pony Clubbers welcome! New Eventers welcome, too!

•  We are located on 150 acres in Farmington , about 20 easy minutes from Winston-Salem.   The facility includes 21 stalls, washstall with hot/cold water, bathroom, three tack rooms, 7 turnout areas of varying size. We have access to the cow farm pastures for conditioning and trails. There is a 260/160 lighted sand arena and a round pen.

• The farm is within five miles of two great veterinary facilities, Greystone Vet Clinic and Davie County Large Animal Hospital.
  

• We have 2 experienced farriers,  Mike Vaughn and Scott Shiminski. They come to the farm every week and are fantastic about coming to replace shoes and for any emergency.
  Boarders are welcome to use any vet and farrier they chose.

•   Horses are treated as individuals at Cornerstone Farm. Their likes and dislikes regarding Turnout: day, night, with the cute little pony, Stall neighbors: mare, gelding, cute little pony, Feed:  Blue Seal Feed from locally owned Strousehouse and hay from Cana Land and Farm.

•  Turnout is provided according to the needs of the horse. Generally, horses are out all day or night. Horses are out in compatible groups of 3-5.  Limited private turnout is available for $75 month extra. Turnout blankets are maintained in winter.

• Training rides are available with Kathi Hines and Ashley Colburn

• Full board is $550 month. Boarders who take at least 4  lessons a month have a $25 discount for each month at a rate of $525 plus the lessons. Want two lessons a week? Board is $500.

• Stalls are matted. You are allowed a summer fan for $5 per month. For safety, provide a new or cleaned fan every year with and enclosed motor.
